DESTIN CHARITY WINE AUCTION FOUNDATION
ANNOUNCES MAJOR SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT

Destin, Fl. – The Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation is extremely pleased to announce a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Viking Range Corporation for its signature “Wine and Dine in Paradise” annual charity gala. This year’s extravaganza is set for April 11th and 12th at the world-class Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

The three-year Viking Range sponsorship is valued at $90,000 and will bolster the Foundation’s mission of connecting wine enthusiasts to raise money for children in need through its premier fund-raising event, Wine and Dine in Paradise.

“We are more than grateful to Viking for their generosity and support. It’s rewarding to count such a prestigious and philanthropic company as Viking among our partners. This partnership will ultimately benefit countless children in need,” said Todd Vucovich, executive director, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation.
  
Viking Range Corporation, named as one of Fortune Magazine’s 2006 Top 10 Breakaway Brands, is not only revered for introducing professional cooking to the home through innovate and exemplary culinary products, but also for the company’s firm commitment to community.

“Viking is pleased to partner with the Destin Charity Wine Auction in helping the Foundation raise money for assisting children and families in need in the Panhandle, said Fred Carl, President and CEO of Viking Range Corporation.  “It’s all about giving back, and Viking applauds the Foundation’s fundraising efforts and their outstanding volunteers  who make it all happen.  We’re looking forward to being more involved with such a good cause.”

Resort Interiors, a gold sponsor, is the Emerald Coast’s largest design and home furnishing center.  Formed by Frank and Julie Kovach in 1995 to help rebuild from the devastation of Hurricane Opal, their community outreach continues to enrich many lives through events such as Wine and Dine in Paradise

Proceeds from this year’s event will allow the beneficiary charities of Children in Crisis, Inc., Ronald McDonald House of northwest Florida, Lighthouse Family Retreat and Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation to build new homes in a children’s foster care neighborhood.  Money raised also will provide comfortable beds and warm smiles for families with a child receiving live-saving medical treatment, and enable children with cancer and their families to enjoy a seashore retreat where they can laugh, love and regain hope and much more.
